Oakton’s Cannabis Cultivation certificate program prepares you to grow cannabis using industry-standard equipment and processes. You’ll get hands-on training in our state-of-the-art PharmaCann Cannabis Cultivation Lab.
Learn the legal and economic requirements of cannabis in our Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management certificate.
And, the Cannabis Dispensary and Patient Care certificate will prepare you to work in a licensed cannabis dispensary, where you will provide cannabis patients with education and assist with dispensary operations in alignment with state and federal laws.

This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in cannabis cultivation and craftgrow centers and to apply state laws and regulations to cultivate cannabis.
This certificate can be completed in one semester. Students seeking employment in this field must be 21 years or older and comply with regulations regarding a criminal background check. Dispensary employees must meet Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulations (IDFPR) requirements to acquire an Agent Card.
This program will prepare transporters to apply state laws and regulations to securely transport and track cannabis between business licenses. Students will also be eligible to apply for their security guard permanent employee registration card (PERC).
