Oakton's Management and Supervision Program provides the skills and experiences you need to be a more effective leader. Courses include critical information on policy interpretation, goal setting, decision-making, communications and motivation. You’ll apply your coursework to real-world problems and create managerial solutions that meet organizational objectives. Whether you are an experienced manager or just beginning your career, you can learn and grow with this program.
The Management and Supervision is an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.). It is designed to be finished at Oakton and prepare you directly for the workforce with industry-relevant coursework. If you're wishing to transfer to a four-year program, please consult with the Office of Advising, Transitions and Student Success.
Our program for an associate degree in management and supervision is composed of 61 semester hours, including some (not all) general education. Refer to the IAI General Education Courses list for guidance in selecting general courses. Students are required to fulfill the major requirements listed below in addition to the general requirements.
