Rev UP Electric Vehicle (EV)

The Illinois Community College Board awarded Oakton with the Rev UP Electric Vehicle (EV) grant to help support the state’s growing Electric Vehicle industry through job training and technology development programs.

Oakton automotive career students are encouraged to apply to receive assistance with unmet needs on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.

Who Rev UP Supports

In order to be eligible for Rev UP funding, students must be enrolled in the automotive program and register for at least one of two classes in the fall 2025 or spring 2026:

• Introduction to Hybrid and Electrical Systems (ATA 117)
• Advanced Hybrid and Electrical Systems (ATA 217)
