This agreement offers Oakton College students Guaranteed Admission to Elmhurst University to complete their Bachelor’s degree.

- Oakton Honors students with a 3.5 GPA, or higher, will have a guaranteed invitation to apply to the Honors Program at Elmhurst University.
Participation Details
In order to qualify for the Guaranteed Admission Partnership with Elmhurst University, a student must:
- Begin participation within the first year of enrollment at Oakton College and up to the first two weeks of their final year to ensure Elmhurst University at least one year of contact with the student.
- Complete a minimum of 24-30 transferable credit hours.
- Complete general education coursework required for admission into their Elmhurst University degree program within three years of initial enrollment at Oakton College.
- Upon completion of the associate degree (A.A., A.S., A.E.S., A.F.A., A.A.S.) students will be accepted at junior status if 64 semester hours of transferable credit are earned. Please note that the A.E.S., A.F.A., and A.A.S. degrees do not transfer in their entirety.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale on all transferable course work taken at Oakton College.
- Nursing and education programs have a GPA requirement of 2.8 and an additional application process to be considered.
- Communication sciences & disorders program has a GPA requirement of 3.2 and a separate application process to be considered.
- International students must demonstrate English language proficiency.

- Meet with your advisor at Oakton College to verify eligibility to apply.
- Complete the application for admission to Elmhurst University.
- Submit the participation form to Elmhurst University.
